 Ilgın Gökaşar leads the project titled “Driving Architecture for Autonomous Vehicles and Determination of Connected Vehicle Traffic Test Scenarios” for the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (MoTI)

Throughout the project, research, development, simulation, and test studies will be conducted to support the smooth operation of connected and autonomous vehicles, which will serve as environmentally friendly, sustainable, safe, secure, and comfortable modes of transportation. The following are the project's primary goals.

 

• To create applications for autonomous and connected vehicle technologies by staying up to date on current developments in our country and around the world in the field of Cooperative Intelligent Transportation Systems (C-ITS),

• To provide a safe, comfortable, and sustainable transportation experience by adapting transportation infrastructure to new technologies.

• To direct practices and standards that will shed light on emerging transportation technologies and systems.
