Exchange programs comprising dual agreements and the Erasmus programs allow students to register for courses in our partner universities and spend one semester abroad. USA, Germany, France, Australia, Netherlands, Czech Republic, South Korea, Spain, Hong Kong and Italy are amongst many possible destinations. Erasmus programs for studies and traineeships provide limited financial support to participants.

Undergraduate students may apply to exchange programs after they complete their first year of studies (excluding prep) and if their grade point average is above the required minimum. Students planning to attend exchange programs should aim for high grade point averages since these programs are competetive and favorite destinations are highly sought after. Proficiency in relevant languages is required for placement in universities whose curricula are taught not in English. Boğaziçi University offers proficiency opportunities in many different languages and the interested students are recommended to pursue these opportunities starting with the first year in their programs.
